New TRAI enitity guidelines for Header/ Template - 16th Feb 2023

Dear Customer,

This mail is to inform you regards recent changes from TRAI for the Activity of Header and Templates.

As per TRAI’s new directions dated 16th Feb’2023. please complete the below steps before 15th March 2023

1) Please verify all your Headers/SMS Template registered on the DLT platform on an urgent basis by 15th March 2023. As Header/Template won't be available if it is unverified. Please find below TRAI guidelines for reference.

2) Any content template requests with more than 2 variables will not be approved on the DLT platform w.e.f. 1st March 2023 and these 2 variables should have to be non-continuous. Also, existing templates which do not adhere to the “variable” format as per new TRAI guidelines will be suspended post-31st March 2023.

By Ignoring the Above steps your sms may stop being delivered to the end user and your Header and Template can be disabled permanently, We will request you check the above points on an urgent basis and take necessary action on an urgent basis.

You can do the above activity on your respective DLT Portal. Here we have shared a sample for the pingconnect only. Please check the other DLT portal.

Secondly, As a telemarketer we can not submit any Template or any header on behalf of the Principal Entity/End User, All the Principal Entity/End User has to submit Template approval on the DLT Platform on their own.

Principal Entity/End User can submit this sms template from DLT Portal where they are registered, After the template gets approved they have to submit it on Vasudev SMS Portal, To get it to whitelist.

Also, We request all the customers to get the approval of the template in at least prior 3-4 days as this template approval process may take time at least 1 or 2 working days.
